Background of External Excellencies Global Foundation

Founded in 2023, External Excellencies Global Foundation emerged from the impactful efforts of the External Excellencies Women’s Ministry, which had been working since 2017 to uplift women and youth through economic empowerment and community outreach. Recognizing the need to broaden the scope and reach of their work, the ministry launched this NGO to expand their vision of empowering underserved communities and creating sustainable opportunities for growth and resilience.

Since its inception, the Foundation has built on the ministry’s achievements, which include conducting five entrepreneurship seminars, youth media training workshops, and four medical camps. These initiatives have benefited thousands, providing seed capital for widows and women to start businesses and enhancing the health and well-being of community members.

In line with its Vision to empower women and youth globally for sustainable, impactful lives, External Excellencies Global Foundation has dedicated itself to providing opportunities that promote independence, self-reliance, and resilience. The Mission of the Foundation is to build pathways for women and youth to thrive by offering educational resources, skill development, health support, and social networks that foster economic stability and personal growth.

The Role of Free Medical Camps in Achieving Health Equity

The Foundation’s medical camps are a central component of its outreach, addressing healthcare inequalities in underserved areas. These camps are held in rural regions, urban slums, remote communities, and disaster-affected areas where healthcare infrastructure is limited. By providing free healthcare, these camps serve populations who may otherwise lack access to essential services due to financial barriers, limited infrastructure, or geographic challenges.

These medical camps not only offer treatment for illnesses but also emphasize preventive healthcare through screenings for conditions like diabetes, hypertension, tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS. Health education is another key component, where community members receive guidance on healthy lifestyles, sanitation, nutrition, and disease prevention, empowering them to make informed health decisions.

The camps also function as a powerful tool for raising awareness about health issues. Through these outreach events, healthcare professionals educate individuals on managing chronic diseases, the importance of regular checkups, and how to navigate public health concerns. Additionally, in areas where public healthcare systems are overburdened, these free medical camps alleviate pressure by providing minor treatments and consultations, often partnering with local hospitals or government agencies to ensure continuity of care for serious or chronic conditions.

Since 2023, External Excellencies Global Foundation has organized two additional medical camps and one empowerment summit. These events have strengthened the Foundation’s ability to reach a broader audience, extend vital resources, and work toward a world where all women and youth can achieve lasting, meaningful change in their lives and communities.
